Public libraries in Nova Scotia provide free downloadable ebook collections for all ages. All you need is a free public library card, which any Nova Scotian can get for any public library in the province. Visit Halifax Public Libraries E-Library or the Nova Scotia Public Libraries Overdrive eBook collection.

At NSCC, we don't really have eBooks meant for kids because we purchase eBooks:

  • to support the NSCC curriculum
  • based on our Collections Policies
